In 2008, after 17 years in management, Stacy left her successful biotechnology career to pursue her passion of being a professional coach. She was scared to leave her secure, lucrative and enjoyable career but, at some point, she felt she was dying inside. She faced her fears, acted in the face of people telling her it wasn’t practical, and went after her dream. Already equipped with a Masters in Statistics (from SMU), she went back to school to pursue a second masters, this time in Coaching and Consulting (from Bastyr), as well as completed training at “Accomplishment Coaching,” to earn her ICF certification as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). She now has her own coaching practice and also coaches graduate business-school students for the University of Washington, Foster School of Business.
