The New Path to ACC and PCC

Beginning in 2027, changes to ICF credentialing will affect how many coaches complete mentor coaching and demonstrate coaching competence on their path to accreditation. From January 1, 2027, new mentor coaching hours used toward an ICF credential must be completed with a mentor coach who holds the Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS). From April 1, 2027, the Performance Evaluation requirement will be replaced for ACC and PCC Portfolio candidates by enhanced mentor coaching and a Competency Review Form.
