Tell Us About Your Experience With The Academies Leadership Coaching Program
After years of navigating complex conversations in the People & Culture space, I wanted to strengthen how I show up in those discussions, especially with leadership. Taking this course felt like adding another tool to my toolkit, one that helps me approach conversations differently and more intentionally.
I’ve always been very solution-focused by nature, but this program taught me how to pause the “advice monster” and lean into curiosity. It helped me reframe how I guide conversations. Less about providing answers, more about creating space for others to find their own.
How Has Coaching Influenced You?
Coaching has shifted the way I partner with leaders and teams. It’s helped me focus less on fixing problems and more on uncovering strengths, motivations, and blind spots that drive performance. As a People & Culture leader, I’ve learned that the most meaningful growth comes from the questions we ask…not the solutions we hand out.
Through this experience, I’ve become a more intentional listener and a stronger connector. I’m finding that even the toughest discussions become opportunities to build trust and clarity when approached through a coaching lens.
How Does Neuroscience Influence Your Coaching Style?
Understanding how the brain responds to challenge, change, and reward has been a game changer. Neuroscience helps me create psychologically safe conversations where others feel seen, supported, and empowered to think differently. It’s also deepened my appreciation that every person I work with is creative, resourceful, and capable of their own breakthroughs.
What’s A Memorable Win You’d Like To share?
This journey reminded me that leadership isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about creating the right conditions for others to find theirs. Coaching has become one of the most impactful tools in my professional (and personal) life, and I’m excited to continue growing in this space.
