Policies and Procedures

Transfer Survey Required

Regardless of training completed, please fill out our Transfer Survey and email your certificates to Coaching@TheAcademies.com prior to registering to ensure we can support you in finishing your Level 1 or 2 Program. Registering for a course without completing the Transfer Survey and emailing your certificates may result in higher rates for separate purchases, and the chance that a transfer is not possible.

Training Hours Provided

Our foundational courses (CCMC & CELDC) provide 33.5 training hours each, including 5 hours of group mentor coaching.

Our advanced courses (ACSC & CLEIC) provide 31 training hours each, including 2.5 hours of group mentor coaching.

If one course is not enough to meet the remaining requirements, you are welcome to enroll in more than one course, or purchase additional group or individual mentor sessions.

Limit on Transfer Hours

We do not accept transfers with fewer than 21 hours of ICF-approved coach training. If you have completed fewer than 21 hours, please plan to enroll in one of our Level 1 Programs.

The Academies will not issue a Level 1 or 2 certification for a coach who has not successfully completed at least one full 10-week course offered by our organization. If you have fewer than 33.5 training hours left to meet either Level 1 or 2 requirements, you must still enroll in one Academies’ course and complete all course requirements.
